1st item: Ivory musical wind instrument (recorder), with wood insert near mouthpiece. Very small lightly scratched number 200 and swastika symbol on midsection. 18-3/4"L. 2nd item: Silk parasol with ivory handle and tip, the handle carved in a tassel and heart motif. 24"L. 3rd through 5th items: 3 ivory candlesticks (likely repurposed from another object, possibly a telescope), all carved with dragon and floral decorations and mounted to round ebonized wood bases. 7-1/2" to 10-3/4". All probably Chinese, late 19th to early 20th century. Note: this lot contains a substance which is protected and restricted in the United States and by international convention and can only be shipped within the United States. Please refer to our terms and conditions, clause 10. Condition: 1st item: full repaired crack encircling end of middle section (near double holes at foot joint), some light staining. 2nd item: disintegration to silk, overall staining, 2" hairline to handle. 3rd – 5th items: all candlesticks with scattered cracks, chips and losses to ivory.
