Silver plated Fireman's Presentation Speaking Trumpet with elaborate fire-themed chased and engraved decoration. Central cartouche reads "Foreman, Presented to Gustavus Pierrez. by the Active and Honorary Members of Hoboken Engine Co.No. 1, Feb.y 1, 1866" above engraved decoration of fireman's ladder, tools helmet, fire bucket with flames, etc. Greek Key border decoration. Retains two carrying rings. All in very good condition. 18" H x 7 3/4" diameter. American, third quarter19th century. Provenance: East Tennessee collection.
