Pair of two (2) ormolu Neo Grec or Classical Revival lamps, urn form, each having mythological relief decoration to the bodies, mermaid decoration below, scrolling handles, and molded foliate rims and bases. Both atop a red marble square base with bronze rosette mounts and four molded bronze feet. Topped with later brass additions including circular floral finials. 30 1/2" H x 6" W x 6" D. French, Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Scattered gilt paint restoration, some areas having dark tarnish. Bases with general surface wear. Fitted for electricity, functional at time of inspection.
