2 watercolor mountainscapes, most likely of the Smoky Mountains, by Lloyd Freeman (California/Tennessee, 1874 – 1930), pencil signed lower left and housed in ebonized wooden frames. Lloyd Freeman was the nephew of famed Knoxville artist Lloyd Branson (18531925). 1ST ITEM: Sight: 13-1/2" H x 19-7/8" W , Framed: 17-1/2" H x 24" W. 2ND ITEM: Sight: 16-1/2" H x 12" W, Framed: 22-1/2" H x 16" W. Both late 19th/Early 20th century. Provenance: Knoxville, TN collector. Condition: 1st painting has some foxing and toning, minor water stains upper left. 2nd painting has significant staining to upper region as well as foxing and toning.
