Francisco J. J. C. Masseria (Argentina, 1927-2002) oil on canvas painting depicting the portrait of a young girl with brown eyes, wearing a white collar and an elaborate headdress and costume, against an abstract multicolored background. Signed with copyright symbol "F.J.J.C. Masseria" lower right. Typed artist's biography, affixed en verso. Housed in a giltwood rococo style frame with carved corner and center decoration, an off-white linen liner, and a giltwood fillet. Sight: 23 3/4" H x 19 3/4" W. Framed: 32 3/4" H x 28 3/4" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Margaret Harold Roberts, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
CONDITION: Painting overall very good condition. Frame with abrasions and minor losses.
