Virginia Woolley (Alabama/California, 1884-1971) oil on board California landscape painting, “Laguna Trees.” Tall coastal eucalyptus trees described with sgrafitto linework stand before a small beachside house, with the Pacific Ocean beyond. Signed and dated to lower right. Titled to backing along with partial artist’s label that reads “[Virginia Woolley] / Laguna Beach California.” Housed in a giltwood frame with tan textile liner. Sight: 9 1/2 in. H x 7 5/8 in. W. Board: 10 in. H x. 8 in. W. Framed: 13 in. H x 11 in. W. Circa 1930.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
