Erte (Romain De Tirtoff, Russian/French, 1892-1990) serigraph on paper titled "Oriental Tale" depicting a disembodied hand illustrating a woman in an Orientalist costume, possibly a genie, surrounded by a red fire, a second woman rendered in black and white lines kneeling to the right. Numbered 60/125 in pencil, lower left under image, signed in pencil, lower right under image. Housed under glass in a contemporary silver metal frame, two wavy line cutouts revealing red beneath the white top mat, lower left and right. Image – 23 1/2" H x 17 3/4" W. Sight – 27" H x 20 3/8" W. Framed – 37 1/4" H x 30 1/2" W. Late 20th century. Provenence: Private Middle Tennessee collection. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. Not examined outside of frame.
