Pair of large porcelain German Meissen cupid figures, both well modeled on round stepped bases, one depicting Cupid with a basket (11 1/4″ H) and the other depicting Cupid removing an arrow from a heart (10 1/2″ H). Each bearing the blue crossed swords marks with additional incised model numbers, M113 and M116. Both mid-19th century. Condition: Both with very minor chips to grass on base. Edges of lower wings fluoresce at a different color under blacklight but cannot see anything to indicate restoration in regular lighting conditions.
