Lot 474: 3 Bethlehem Mother of Pearl Carvings incl. Nativity, Last Supper

Three (3) Mother of Pearl carved shell plaques. Two (2) depict Bethlehem Nativity scenes, including one housed under glass in an ebonized round shadowbox tabletop frame. One (1) depicts the Last Supper with Christ and his disciples seated at a long table. All with ornate pierced borders. Ranging in size from 4 1/2 in. x 5 1/2 in. to 6 in. x 6 in. Frame 7 in .x 7 in. Late 19th to early 20th century.

Private Nashville collection. 

CONDITION:

The unframed Nativity plaque has losses to the lower edge. The other two are in excellent condition.
