Depicts an abstract form, rendered in black lines, reminiscent of works from the artist's Serie Negra (Series in Black). Signed and dated lower right center, "Zobel 65", with a Bertha Schaefer Gallery, New York label en verso. Sight – 6 3/4" x 9 3/4". Sheet: 7-1/2" x 10-1/4". Matted – 14 1/2" H x 17 1/2" W. Provenance: From the estate of Robert L. Zarbock, Escondido, California. (Refer to lots 471 and 472 for additional Zobel works in this sale). CONDITION: Overall excellent condition.
