Four (4) bronze table or desk items. 1st item: Neo Gothic cast bronze box or casket with relief panels representing a story of star-crossed lovers. Hinged lid features figures in arched tracery patterns with foliate decorations and fleur de lis to handle; hinged latch to rectangular escutcheon, and four (4) trefoil pierced bracket feet. Red velvet to the interior. Includes a handwritten letter on Mission House Stockbridge, Massachusetts stationery stating that the box is a copy of an ivory box from the National Museum in Munich, Germany, and explains the story represented by the figures, plus a typed copy of the handwritten letter’s contents. 4 1/2 in. H x 8 5/8 in. W x 4 5/8 in. D. 19th century. 2nd item: Bronze casket form box with bail handles on each side and wheels within the bracket feet. 5 3/4 in. H x 10 3/4 in. W x 5 1/8 in. D. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 3rd item. Framed Russian Orthodox bronze relief icon depicting St. Nicholas portrayed as a bishop. Housed in a modern gilt wood frame. Icon measures: 2 1/2 in. H x 2 1/4 in. W. Framed: 8 1/8 in. H x 6 1/8 in. W. 4th item: Bronze cover of a Russian Orthodox travel icon, likely originally part of a triptych or diptych, depicting a Saint. 3 1/2 in. H x 1 3/4 in. W. 19th century.
