Pair (2) of Continental Renaissance Revival burlwood veneer pedestals, square form with projecting front corners, carved frieze above front panels with surround molding flanked by fully turned columns on a molded base with shaped skirt and projecting front legs, paneled sides and unfinished backs. 34" H x 18" W x 16" D. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both tops with sun fading and wear, one with one molding element missing on the front center panel, some vertical wood shrinkage noted. Tideline to back of one pedestal.
