Loosely float mounted and housed under glass in a wooden frame. Broadside: 9 5/8" H x 11 3/4" W. Framed: 11 3/4" H x 14 1/2" W. 2nd item: A TENNESSEAN ABROAD OR LETTERS FROM EUROPE, AFRICA, AND ASIA, by Randal W. MacGavock (alternate spelling McGavock), A.M., L.L.B., published by Redfield, New York, 1854. Hardcover 12mo, 398 pages with back advertisments, hardbound in purple cloth with blindstamped covers, gilt lettering to spine. 7 3/4" H x 5 3/8" W x 1 3/8" D. 3rd item: THE COMET, Vol. I, published by the Fraternities of the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, May 1887. Hardcover quarto, 56 pages with illustrations and front advertisments, hardbound in one-quarter brown cloth with prints paper sides. 12" H x 9 1/4" W x 5/8" D.

CONDITION: 1st item: Overall toning, scattered foxing spots, creases, tears, largest 2 1/2", pencil inscriptions. Broadside is loose in frame, not pasted or taped down to mat. 2nd-3rd items: Covers with general wear, sunning, tears, areas of loss, corners bumped. Pages with toning, foxing spots, dampstaining, pencil inscriptions. Some pages towards the center of the TENNESSEAN ABROAD book are loose from binding or not present.
