Two (2) French bronze animal sculptures. 1st item: Jules Moigniez (France, 1835-1894) bronze sculpture depicting two pheasants or quails eating wheat on an ovular base. Signed, "J. Moigniez." 7 1/2" H x 9 1/4" W x 4 3/8" D. 2nd item: After Joseph Paul Raymond Gayrard (France, 1807-1855) bronze sculpture, "Levrier couche," depicting a recumbent dog mounted on a hexagonal marble base. Signed and dated, "Gayrard London 1849." 5 1/5" H x 13" W x 7" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with losses of paper underneath the base of Moigniez pheasants.
