Two (2) Cobalt Stoneware Pottery Items, including Bertrand and Lavoie. 1st item: Bertrand & Lavoie 5-gallon salt glazed stoneware pottery cooler with incised banding and cobalt decoration to the front and cobalt accents to the bands and spout. Stamped below the rim MFG BY BERTRAND & LAVOIE IBERVILLE PO (Ontario). 14 1/4" H. 2nd item: New York or Canadian 2-gallon salt-glazed pottery jug with cobalt sprig decoration to the front and stamped 2 denoting capacity. 13" H. Both pieces Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Patricia Kiegel, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Hairline emanating from rim approx. 6" L. Scattered chipping to rim. 2nd item: Some chipping to rim, otherwise overall good condition.
