Miniature portrait on ivory of Theodore Mathias Trezevant (1806 – 1868). Born in Charleston, South Carolina to Peter Trezevant (1768 – 1854) and Elizabeth Willoughby Farquhar (1772 – 1845). Red leather case. Theodore married Eleanor Waller in 1844. They had three sons. Biography reference – The Trezevant Family in the United States by John Timothée Trezevant, 1914. Sight: 4-1/8" H x 3" W. Case: 5-1/8" H x 4-1/2" W. Second quarter of the 19th century. Also included in the lot is an October 1863 division of trust funds and income from the late Peter Trezevant. The statement includes stocks, bonds, and cash left to Theodore Mathias Trezevant and his other siblings. Condition: Overall very good condition.
