Jacobi & Jenkins sterling silver tea service in an allover rose and floral repousse pattern. 5 pieces including a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, covered sugar bowl with scrolled handles, and waste bowl. Each piece of pear-shaped or round form with shaped lip and round footed base, the domed covers with figural flower finials and all pieces except waste bowl with scrolled foliate handles. Each piece marked on the base "Jacobi and Jenkins Baltimore Makers, Sterling 925/1000 Fine". Ranging in size from 3 3/4" H x 5 1/2" dia. to 9" H x 9" W. 106.63 total troy ounces. Note: Jacobi & Jenkins (successors to the A. Jacobi firm founded 1879) was in business in Baltimore, Maryland from 1894-1908. The firm then became known as Jenkins & Jenkins. It dissolved around 1915 and their tools and dies were purchased by the Schofield Silver Co., which was later absorbed into the Stieff Co.
CONDITION: All pieces in overall very good condition with light expected wear. Finial of coffee pot is loose.
