"Ike" Eisenhower presentation gift with replica of Eisenhower signature set in platinum and single cut diamonds and dated, "Nov. 19th 1952" in relief on top. Marked "14K Plat"on left inner rim. 1/4" H x 3 1/8" W x 2 3/8" D. 109 grams total including attached interior mirror. Compact fitted in red leather slipcover case marked "Grogan" in gilt letters on interior, 3 1/4" L x 2 3/8" W x 3/4" D. Note: November 19, 1952 is the date that President Harry Truman met with President-elect Dwight D. Eisenhower at the White House to discuss the upcoming transfer of power.
