Two German pottery steins. 1st item: German pottery stein featuring painted scene of a brewer holding a stein of beer with pewter top, 1 liter capacity. Base with faint incised mark and "7". 9 1/8" H. 2nd item: German pottery stein featuring incised and painted decoration of a pub scene with pottery and pewter top and with a pewter figural thumbpiece, 1/2 liter capacity. Base stamped "866, Germany, JWR". 10" H. Both early 20th century. Condition: 1st item: Some slight wear to paint, overall good condition. 2nd item: Overall very good condition.
