Karel Appel (1921-2006) lithograph, "What are They Waiting For," two faces set against a multicolored geometric background. Signed in the margin lower right in pencil and dated 1970, and numbered 29/100 lower left. Float mounted on an ivory colored backing and framed under plexiglass in a gold metallic frame. 24 1/4" x 30 1/2" sheet, 36 1/4" x 30 1/4" framed. Provenance: Private Nashville, TN collection. CONDITION: Excellent condition.
