American, poss. E. Massachusetts or New York, Federal mahogany tilt-top candlestand consisting of an oval top with molded edges above a turned pedestal with vase turned center terminating into three spider form legs. 28 1/2" H x 23" D x 17" D. Circa 1810.
PROVENANCE: The Tina McWhorter Trust; from the collection of John and Tina McWhorter, Memphis, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Older refinish with some minor staining the top, one leg with old repair to the upper section. Sewing bird scars to underside.
