Pair of engraved and enameled glass vases, attributed to the Imperial Glass Factory, St. Petersburg, Russia, late 19th century. The vases of shouldered and tapering ovoid form, with ivory, red and cobalt enamel designs and brass overlay trim at the collars and lower edges and feet, the colorless glass body with engraved and raised floral and vine designs. Enameled signature "GF" to interior of neck. Each measures 8"H and 5" diameter. Provenance: the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: One vase has two minute (1/8" or less) flakes to underside of foot, otherwise both are in excellent condition.
