American Queen Anne tilt-top tea table with birdcage, walnut or mahogany, attributed to Pennsylvania, possibly Philadelphia, round top with molded "dish" edge atop a bird cage support, pedestal with ring turnings set atop three mortised legs, each ending in snake and pad feet. 29" H x 30" dia. American, circa 1760.
PROVENANCE: The Tina McWhorter Trust; from the collection of John and Tina McWhorter, Memphis, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Refinished surface, top with light use wear, full shrinkage crack and large area of staining. Some minor scattered losses to dished edge. Scratching to standard and small nick to ring turning on pedestal. One foot with minor losses around the edges of the pad.
