Alexander Calder (American, 1898-1976) lithograph, "Tapestry," abstract expressionist work with multicolored shapes on gold background. Signed in the plate lower right in pencil and numbered 39/90 lower left. Float mounted under plexiglass on an ivory colored mat with silver metallic frame. 30 5/8" x 20 3/4" sheet, 36" x 28" framed. Circa 1976. Provenance: Private Nashville, TN collection. CONDITION: Light tack mounting stain or fingerprint at upper right and lower right corners. 1" crack to plexiglass at left edge. Not examined out of frame.
