A. Francis Wattson (NY, late 19th century) oil on canvas, village scene at night, signed lower left in red "A. Francis Wattson". Wattson exhibited at the National Academy of Design, 1898, and belonged to the Salmagundi Art Club. Framed in gilt molded frame with egg and dart detail. Sight: 14-1/2" H x 21-1/4" W, Frame: 23" H x 30" W. Condition: Overall craquelure. Black light shows some fluorescence which could be from inpainting or heavy varnish.
