Two (2) Chinese Export porcelain ginger jars. 1st item: Chinese export Famille Rose ginger jar decorated with four figures, game board and stacked elongated bottle form vases, all surrounded by calligraphy, some in decorated panels. Wax seal to base. Vase – 7 3/4" H x 9" dia. plus wood carved base and lid (11" H). Possibly Republic, early 20th century. 2nd item: Chinese export Cabbage Leaf and butterfly design ginger jar, 7 1/4" H x 9" dia. plus wood carved lid and base (11" H), early/mid 20th century. Includes lids and stands, likely not original. Provenance: The Estate of Judith E. Crosland, Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Crosland's father worked for the United States Diplomatic Corp. and the family lived in China for three years during her childhood. CONDITION: 1st item: Minor wear to decoration. Jar does not fit snugly in wood stand. 2nd item: Some wear to base rim.
