Georgia huntboard, yellow pine throughout. Consisting of a two-board plain top over a dentil molded edge, two large dovetailed drawers with applied overhanging "lipped" drawer fronts having four wood pulls each, resting on tall, tapering Hepplewhite legs. Nailed and pegged construction throughout. 44 3/4" H x 52 1/4" W x 25 1/4" D. Carolinas or Georgia, Mid-19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Mary Ann Brown Lynn, Columbia, TN.
CONDITION: Older refinish. Left applied lipped drawer front appears to be a later replacement. The top with wear and some scattered stains, right drawer with horizontal wood shrinkage, underside of case with wood shrinkage and some losses.
