Andreas (Andy) F. Loewy (American, 20th century), "Playtime," bronze abstract sculpture, signed and dated 1983 on the base. 36" H x 30" W. Note: Loewy is an Associate Professor of Industrial Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Prior to academia, Loewy was a designer of products, and he worked in the fields of architecture and sculpture.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned from the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.
