Six (6) English porcelain or ironstone tea service items.1st-4th items: Four (4) Softpaste Porcelain tea service items, including one (1) pitcher having a transfer printed armorial crest with two figures flanking a central coat of arms with English and Latin lettering reading "Upon My Honor" and "Quid Rides" and the initials "JP" in script below the spout, and (2) teapots, one (1) with matching underplate having red or green polychrome floral swag decorations. Unmarked. Teapots and under plate with old inventory or retail labels to underside of bases or lids. Ranging in size from 1/2" H x 8 1/8" W to 6 1/4" H x 10 1/2" W. 5th-6th items: Two (2) Mason's Ironstone Mandalay pattern octagonal form pitchers having transfer printed floral decorations. Both with brown early 20th Century Mason's Ironstone marks to underside of bases. Ranging in size from 5 1/2" H x 5 1/8" W to 6" H x 5 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with scattered crazing, firing flaws, losses to gilt, largest 2". 1st-4th items: One teapot with 7/8" hairline to bottom of handle, underplate with general surface wear.
