Lot of 8 souvenir items from the Tennessee Centennial Celebration of 1897 in Nashville, TN. 1ST ITEM: Porcelain trivet with transfer image of the Rialto, gilt edges, 6 7/8" dia; 2ND THRU 3RD ITEMS: Two (2) Mugs of red and clear glass etched "Mary Alice Snow 1897" and "Sallie, Nashville 1897", 4" H & 3 1/2" H; 4TH ITEM: Porcelain plate with transfer image of the Agriculture Building, scalloped edges with stipple green paint, 7 1/4" dia ; 5TH & 6TH ITEMS: Lot of two (2) porcelain plates with transfer decoration of Parthenon and the Rialto, 8" dia; 7TH & 8TH ITEMS: Pair of frosted glass mugs, both with gilt relief decoration of the Cherokee rose and the 16-starred U.S. flag denoting Tennessee as the 16th state to join the Union. 3 3/8" H. Condition: All items very good condition except 4th item has spotting and 8th item has extensive loss to gilt.
