First pair: Large pair of Staffordshire lion figures in recumbent poses with glass eyes and some gilt lustre highlights. 10" H x 13" W x 6" D. English, circa 1900. Second pair: Large pair of Victorian Staffordshire spaniel dog figures with green luster decoration. 12"H x 10" W x 4"D. English, late 19th century. Condition: First pair: Some wear to gilt lustre highlights. Left lion has two old 3/4" chips to base (left side and underside) and a 1/4" chip to lower front edge (under rear paw). Right lion has very small glaze flake to nose. Second pair: Overall crazing. Some glaze chips to nose, wear to blue eyes on left dog. Some light staining to backs, small firing crack to lower edge on left dog.
