Five (5) pieces of William Moorcroft art pottery in the Pomegranate pattern having pomegranate and grape cluster decoration on cobalt grounds including two (2) large vases, one (1) with flared rim and base, and one (1) with bulbous shoulder and tapered base, both signed "W. Moorcroft" and stamped with "Moorcroft" factory mark and one additionally stamped "Made in England" to underside, one (1) large jardiniere with round foot, signed "W. Moorcroft" and stamped with "Moorcroft" factory mark, "Made In England" to underside, one (1) champagne flute with hammered pewter base, stamped "H/ Made in England/ Tudric/ Moorcroft/ 01353/ Made by Liberty & Co" to underside, and one (1) small vase with silver plated rim, stamped with "Moorcroft" factory mark and "Made in England" to underside. Ranging in size from 4" H x 3 1/2" Dia to 10" H x 8 1/2" Dia. All items English, circa 1st half of 20th century. Note: The original purchase receipt for one of the larger vases from the Antique Market, Michigan City, IN, dated 1998, is available to the winning bidder.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Robert Meyer, Crossville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All pieces with typical crazing to glaze. One large vase with repaired rim, measuring 2 1/2" L, and minor hairline cracks along rim, jardiniere with minor glaze repairs to base and lower margin, visible under UV light inspection, largest area approximately 1" L.
