Polia Sunockin Pillin (Polish/American, 1909-1992) studio art pottery bottle form vase with hand-painted decoration of an elongated female figure holding a bird, a smaller female figure attired in a yellow dress, and a white deer against a grey ground with horizontal red, pink, and white striations. Signed "Pillin" to underside. 14" H x 3 1/2" Dia.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Robert Meyer, Crossville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: One flake to glaze on underside measuring 1 1/4", and one small glaze flake near bird.
