American sterling silver 5-piece tea set, retailed by Julius Goodman & Sons, Memphis, TN, comprised of a teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. All of urn form above a round pedestal base, with stylized frieze at the upper body, S-scroll handles and the lids with urn finials. Ranging in size from 4 1/8" H to 11" H. 60.915 total troy ounces. Also included in this lot is a Sheffield plate oval tray, marks for William Adams, with a shaped and pierced gallery and chased foliate decoration. 2 1/2" H x 22 1/4" W x 15 3/4" D. Provenance: Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: All pieces with light general surface wear. Teapot and sugar bowl with a couple of small dings. Surface wear to tray, one small area of loss.
