Large Sanborns Mid Century Modern sterling silver compote or tazza, the hand hammered bowl with scalloped rim atop a pierced standard having a vertical leaf, branch and berry design, supported on a spreading rounded foot. Stamped with Sanborns owl mark, 925 Sterling, and 129. 24.24 oz troy. 8" diameter x 6 1/2"H. Mexican, mid 20th century.

CONDITION: Excellent condition. Stabilizing brace possibly added later across bottom of bowl.
