European, Belgian, or French, Louis XV style gilt bronze mantle clock having a white enameled clock face with both Arabic and Roman numbers, pierced hands or batons and scrolling front paw feet. Works marked "L.F" and numbered 34292, with "Hors Concours/L.P. Japy & Cie./ 1878" and "5 5" marked under bell. 19 1/4" H x 12 3/4" W. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with expected wear to gilt. Clock functioning at time of inspection.
