Salvador Dali (Spain, 1904-1989) etching in sanguine ink on wove Rives paper entitled Mantre Molle (Soft Watch) and depicting the artist's iconic melting clock motif as seen in his celebrated Surrealist oil painting The Persistence of Memory, 1931. From the edition of 150 from the series Quinze Gravures published by Jean Schneider, Basil, 1968. Signed and editioned in pencil 146/150, lower margin. Housed under glass in a metallic frame with cream mat and French line. Plate: 7" H x 5" W. Sheet: 15 7/8" H x 10 7/8" W. Frame: 20 1/4" H x 16 5/16" W.
