Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983) abstract color lithograph entitled "Le chien aboyant a la lune…" From the 1952 double-number (numbers 27 & 28) edition of Verve. Signed in the stone. With two other lithographs en verso, one abstract composition with a moon related to the primary lithograph and one with the title written in French. Ref.: Mourlot 189. Housed under plexiglass in a modern giltwood frame with cream textile mat and gilt reveal. Sheet: 14" H x 21" W. Sight: 13 1/4" H x 20 1/4" W. Frame: 24 1/4" H x 31 1/4" W.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition. With vertical fold and binding holes along the fold, as published. Faint creasing to upper and lower left corners, 1" L.
