Persian Sarouk rug or carpet, wool on cotton, not painted. Central salmon field with allover foliate decoration within five primary borders. Woven in colors of salmon, blue, gold and cream. 141" H x 109" W. Circa 1st quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with general use wear. Some color fading, wear to file in center, one 2" repaired hole.
