Small Persian Serapi or Heriz rug, wool on cotton. Central red ground foliate field with medallion and palmette decoration and ivory ground foliate spandrels, all within one primary blue foliate border. Woven in colors of red, blue, ivory, pink and salmon. 60" H x 42" W. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. Ken and Linda Moore.
CONDITION: Restoration to selvages, rug has been reduced. Otherwise in good condition with scattered wear to pile.
