Chinese cloisonne inlaid lacquered wooden stool, having a circular top with a cloisonne insert featuring various stylized flowers surrounded by a hand painted band of flowers, and a shaped black lacquered apron painted with peonies and leaves,resting on floral paint decorated cabriole legs with a continuous floor stretcher. 19-3/4" H x 15" dia. Very good condition with some wear to paint and finish, with only a few small dents and chips in lacquer. 20th century. Provenance: Knoxville, TN estate.
