Original 1950s illustration art for a Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969) presidential campaign poster by Naegele, personally autographed by the candidate (signed lower left margin). The artwork is a collage with oil or acrylic on cardstock image of a farmer milking a cow, mounted to a larger piece of cardstock painted with the slogan in large red letters: "I'm Pulling for Ike". Later black mat and molded giltwood frame. 10-1/2" x 19-1/2" sight, 15-1/2" x 24-1/2" framed. Condition: Possible loss to one leg of stool. Scattered small paint smudges/drips. Minimal fading and toning, large signature.
