Two (2) Mari Bolen (American, 20th century) Native American bronze sculptures. 1st item: Bronze sculpture titled "Turtle Talk" depicting a Kiowa woman with her two children, one teasing a turtle, the Kiowa symbol for fertility, and her baby in a cradleboard. Signed, numbered 29/50, and dated 1994 on the base. Mounted onto a marble and wood base. Sculpture – 9 3/8" H. 11"H x 7" x 7 3/4" overall. 2nd item: Bronze sculpture titled "Story Robe" depicting a Teton Warrior attired in a bison robe and headdress. Signed, numbered 7/50 and dated 1996 on the base Mounted onto a round marble and wood base. Sculpture – 12 1/4" H. 14 1/8" H x 6 1/2" dia overall. 21 lbs total. Provenance: Private La Follette, TN collection. CONDITION: Both overall very good condition.
