Grouping of six (6) cartes de visite of Tom Thumb and carnival related subjects. Items 1-3 – Three CDVs of General Tom Thumb and his wife with one showing their baby. Two of the CDVs are signed verso, "Compliments of Charles Stratton Lavina Warren Stratton" and published by E & H. T. Anthony New York, photographic negative by Brady. 4th item – CDV "Admiral Dot – Thirteen years old; Twent-five inches high. Weighs only Fifteen pounds", published by E & H. T. Anthony New York. 5th item – CDV depicting a bearded woman or man in a dress. W. S. Warren Photographer, Boston. 6th item – CDV depicting a young boy standing beside a gothic chair. Attired with top hat, walking stick and dress vest and pants. 19th century. Condition: Overall very good condition with minor toning and a couple with minor foxing spots. Bearded figure in a dress CDV has abrasion to lower middle margin.
