English Chippendale mahogany mirror with carved gilt openwork shell at crest and lower frame, molded gilt liner with gilt carved surround, top notched corners, scrolled ears and beveled glass. 32 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Late 18th century.
PROVENANCE: Collection of John H. and Carol R. Evans, Farragut, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, some silvering to left margin of mirror. Scattered repaired breaks to scrolled ears and scrolled elements.
