A Pair of Large East Tennessee transitional stoneware pottery preserving jars with channeled rims for lids. 10 3/4" H and 11" H. Attributed to the Mort family of Jefferson County, Tennessee. Both third quarter of 19th century. Condition: One jar with a hairline crack and chips around rim. The other overall good condition.
