White Co.", marked below "Boston & New York, U.S.A.", Serial number "1879", brass case mounted on a wooden platform. 10 3/4" diameter compass diameter, 13 7/8" width of gimballed brass platform, 8" height including platform. Early 20th century. 2nd item: Small cased gimballed compass, underside marked "Made U.S.A." Mounted in a wooden box. 4 5/8" width of gimballed compass. Box: 5 1/8"H x 7 7/8"W x 6 1/4"D. 2nd half of the 20th century. 3rd item: Schaffer & Budenberg, Manchester brass revolution counter for a steam engine. 9" Dia. Early 20th century. Provenance: Gatlinburg, TN collection. Condition: 1st item: overall very good condition. 2nd item: overall very good condition. 3rd item: wear to face plate, outer edge of brass frame with dents and wear.
