East Tennessee carved cane with snakes found in Erwin, TN. Comprised of large shaft terminating in snake head with mouth agape and rounded handle, encircled by a smaller snake. Remnants of black paint decoration. 35 5/8" L. 19th century/Early 20th century. Condition: Overall very good condition with some age cracks and separation to wood.
