Three (3) Cybis hand-painted porcelain horse sculptures, including one (1) titled "Oceania" from the Sea King's Steed collection, depicting a white horse with a mermaid tail surrounded by crashing waves, signed and numbered "Cybis #52" to back left edge of sculpture; one (1) Bicentennial Carousel Horse titled "Ticonderoga", depicting a white horse in patriotic American regalia, mounted to a twisted brass pole and secured to a rectangular ebonized base, signed and numbered "Cybis #148" to underside of sculpture; and one (1) depicting two white horses with flowers and ribbons in their manes and tails, signed "Cybis" to underside of back left legs and numbered "#132" to back right edges of base. All with additional impressed Cybis marks to undersides of sculptures and edges of bases. Ranging in size from 7 3/4" H x 12" W x 4" D to 13" H x 12" W x 6 1/2" D. All items fourth quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition. Two Horses sculpture with possible break to ribbon on mane of left horse.
