Lot 421: 2 Yvonne Jacquette Cased Lithos: Manhattan, Dawn and Night

Yvonne Jacquette (American, b. 1943), “A Glimpse of Lower Manhattan,” 1986, two lithographs on paper, depicting New York City at dawn and at nighttime. Printed on BFK and Black Arches Cover papers, cut and assembled in a painted plexiglass box so as to appear as an image seen through the porthole of an airplane. Each signed lower right and numbered, 10/10 for Dawn and 10/60 for Night.  Each box: 20 1/2 in. H x 15 in. W. 

PROVENANCE:

The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville, TN.

Excellent condition.
